About Us
“Kisaan” means farmer in Punjabi. We bring fresh, pasteurised, unhomogenised dairy from local farms in Victoria — with the cream still on top.
Kisaan was started by Jaspreet Singh and Surinder Singh — two men from farming families in Punjab, India, who moved to Australia and wanted to bring back the kind of fresh dairy they grew up with.
Based out of a facility on McHarry Place in Shepparton, we started making Indian-style cheese before moving into what we do best: pasteurised, unhomogenised milk — just like Australians used to get decades ago, with the cream still sitting on top.
Today, we work with local farmers in the Goulburn Valley to produce milk, ghee, yoghurt, curd, butter, and more. We process around 17,000 litres every other day and deliver to homes and businesses across Shepparton and Melbourne.
